For my Girl Scout Gold Award project, I created a music program aimed at preschoolers. Here, I am sharing the lessons I created, the musical instrument craft projects, and an overview of the music wall I built. Many studies suggest there are benefits to learning music, such as better performance in school. Rhythm instruments, in particular, can help young kids to refine their hand-eye coordination and motor skills. If nothing else, children enjoy the opportunity to play with musical instruments, as seen below.
